What did I commit to for the mobile beta?

You committed to confirm the design handoff date today and update the Q3 roadmap. The beta group will remain small for the first feedback round.

Hold a key and talk. Your words land where you were typing.

Push-to-talk dictation in any Mac app — mail, Slack, an editor, a terminal. Speech is recognised on your Mac, the text is pasted where the cursor was, and the dictionary learns the words you correct.

Hold a key. Talk. It types.

Push-to-talk dictation for every app on your Mac. Speech is recognised on your own machine — the same engine that handles your meetings — so the sentence you just said never leaves the room it was said in.

/01

Hold the key

Right Option by default — or any modifier that types nothing on its own. The capsule above the Dock wakes up and starts listening.

/02

Say the sentence

Words appear in the capsule while you are still talking. Nothing is streamed anywhere; the model runs on your Mac.

/03

Let go

The text lands where your cursor already was — mail, Slack, an editor, a terminal — and your clipboard comes straight back.

It cleans up what you actually said.

Hesitation sounds, gone
“um” and “эээ” are dropped by default. Real words — “well”, “so”, “ну” — stay exactly where you said them.
Spoken punctuation, opt-in
Off unless you turn it on, and then it needs an activation word — so a bare “comma” stays the word it is.
Long dictations arrive whole
The final text comes from a full re-decode of everything you said, not from a sliding window that can clip a sentence next to a pause.
Your clipboard is yours
Eidetic waits for the words to actually appear, then hands your clipboard back — no timer, no pasting something you copied earlier.

Dictation dictionary

Correct a word right after dictating and Eidetic keeps the fix. A single respelling is learned at once; a multi-word or cross-script fix waits until you make it a second time, so a rewrite is never mistaken for a rule. The list lives in a file on your Mac — nothing is uploaded and no model is trained.

Private means local

Your meeting never becomes our data.

Your audio, transcripts, notes, and summaries stay on the Mac you control.

Internet is needed to download the local models and activate your license. After that, recording and processing work locally — even when you are offline.
/01Capture

Capture both sides — without a bot joining.

Eidetic captures your microphone and the audio playing on your Mac. Use it with Zoom, Meet, Teams, Slack, browser calls, or conversations in the room — and the same microphone path drives push-to-talk dictation.

Meeting content stays on this Mac

The numbers other tools sell you. Measured on your Mac.

Insights reads the recordings already sitting on your machine and works out where the time went and how the conversations actually went — talk share, speaking rate, silence, recurring topics, and the coaching metrics conversation-intelligence vendors charge for. Nothing new is collected and nothing is sent anywhere.
